Three red-necked grebes were among scattered waterfowl at Freeman Lake in Etown
today.
We also drove to Cecilia, where few cranes are left. Hwy 86 west of Cecilia had
two small flocks, totaling around 40 birds. The only other cranes we found were
a flock of 250 birds at a farm pond at 37.703006, -86.050623
