The Ross's Goose and Snow Goose continue at Kentucky Fish and Wildlife HQ
this evening in Franklin County. For anyone (like myself) who sometimes
can't tell them apart super easily, tonight was about as good as it gets
for comparisons between the two species. They're each loosely associating
with some Canada Geese, and because the Canadas are so tame, the Snow and
Ross's seemed generally more comfortable as well, making for very easy
observations. I barely had to get out of my car to get some nice photo
opportunities. Might be worth the drive for anyone who doesn't get to see
either very often.
