A morning walk at Hisle Farm Park in eastern Fayette Co. turned up a sizable
flock of mixed sparrows which really didn’t wish to be identified. Lincoln,
Savannah, White-crowned, and at least three Fox sparrows were mixed with lots
of Song and Field. The size of many of the birds darting from one weedy patch
to another lead me to believe there were several more Fox in there. Nice crop
of hickory nuts
