Finally after 8 years (following dam repair at Wolf Creek Dam) I was able
to kayak up Fishing Creek with at least a chance at seeing some shorebirds
at Horseshoe Bend. It's really difficult viewing with all the dead
vegetation still sticking up, but it was a joy to be back out on that
mudflat again.
