I've seen several white turkeys over the years. The most recent was last
fall in the river bottom in Hart County where US 31E crosses the Green
River.

Mark,
While not common this does occur in wild turkeys. It is known by hunters as
a silver turkey. Tim Farmer (KYDNR host of KY Afield) harvested one in an
episode that aired last spring.

06 April 2004:

While driving home from Bowling Green today, a flock of about 6 Wild
Turkeys were observed. One of the birds appeared at a considerable
distance to be solid white/whitish. Of course, I am aware of domestic
Turkeys that are white. Does this phenomenon occur often in Wild
Turkeys? Does this bird imply crossing of Wild and Domestic Turkeys?
