It was a great morning for a walk at Nolin Lake... those campgrounds are
excellent birding spots when the troublesome campers aren't around.
Orioles were whistling and rattling everywhere...two Baltimores squared off on
a branch, flashing some exceptional colors.
It's been an amazing year for red-headed woodpeckers in our corner of the
world...it seems like they're everywhere, including several places where I've
never seen them before. We have a pair apparently nesting on our farm.
Where are the indigo buntings???
FOS Baltimore oriole, orchard oriole, warbling vireo, palm warbler.
