Birds were active at Mammoth Cave this morning, with chimney swifts, r.b.
grosbeaks, and summer tanagers as new arrivals. We had 50 species in total,
including a common loon(!) which flew over. Highlights included 3 vireos, two
tanager spp., 13 warblers, including :

Worm-eating Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush
Blue-winged Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Prothonotary Warbler
Kentucky Warbler
Hooded Warbler
Northern Parula
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-throated Green Warbler
