We had our FOS white-throated sparrow today, as well. Other highlights were
nine warbler species; eight this morning on our walk down and up the driveway
this morning, and a Nashville warbler in the late afternoon in our magnolia
tree. Noticed a red-bellied woodpecker caching seeds from the bird feeder
either up under the shingles of the house roof or somewhere in the gutter!
Observed several indigo buntings enjoying seeds from our new prairie.

Debby just sent me a photo, taken this morning, of our first White-crowned
of the fall season. We started putting cracked corn on their favorite feeder
rocks (donated by Frank Lyne, several years ago) last Saturday, and this bird
apparently remembered where to look.
BTW, we counted our last hummingbird the day before yesterday, but it is
still very warblery at Schochoh.
