Saw my FOS White-crowned Sparrow on our late afternoon walk Sunday. I’m in awe
of the weekend bird numbers Steve Tyson routinely has on or in view of his
property, yet his list seldom includes more than a tiny handful that I don’t
see here at some time in a given week. I’ll also confess that I might be
spending less time watching out for birds because I know that if something
really good shows up here on our farm, there’ll likely be visitors. We’ve both
been vaccinated, yet I’ve not quite gotten over being a little nervous about
being in close proximity to others.
