I watched it all last year and it was fantastic. I knew about the pip yesterday
and was on the web site earlier this afternoon, but he/she was sitting on the
nest and I did not realize one had hatched. Two more to go. Such fun to see
them grow from cute little things to these majestic birds.

I know this isn't in Kentucky, but I thought since we have so many Eagle
nests in Kentucky these days, that someone might be interested in viewing the
Eagle nestcam in Decorah, Iowa! I've been keeping an eye on it for a couple of
weeks. Today, one of the eggs hatched, and another is starting. It really blows
my mind to think that little bitty chick will, in a few short months be as big
as an Eagle! I did post some information about it on Louisvillenaturally.com
today, but I'm including the web address here!
This is such an exciting time of year!!

Let's not forget the KEEP Osprey nestcam at Lake Barkley! They don't have
eggs yet, but I bet they will pretty soon, and then the cam will be live stream!
