The EKBC outing today, proved to be a good day. The snow made the Laurel Gorge in Elliott County amazingly beauiful. Not many people showed up but the birds were active. Highlights included: Pine Siskins (50 +), Hermit Thrush sat inches away from a window to give me a great look in a comfortable climate. Saw a Kingfisher on the river and a Bob White on the road with some Meadow Larks. At home lots of Purple finches at the feeder. EKBC next outing March 11. Scott Friedhof will lead us to the Lewis County and South Shore Wildlife Management Areas to look for waterfowl. Evelyn Morgan, enjoying the snow and birds in Elliott County. --------------------------------- Yahoo! Autos. Looking for a sweet ride? Get pricing, reviews, & more on new and used cars.
