[birdky] Downey or Hairy Woodpecker

I have a pair of woodpeckers living in the trees behind my house and they visit 
my feeders several times throughout the day. I have gotten several great 
pictures of them but still am not sure enough to say if they are Downey or 
Hairy. Is there any other difference in the 2 accept the length of their bill? 
From everything I've read and seen I'm going to guess a Downey. Opinions 
welcome please.
