Upon walking under the East End Bridge, on the Indiana side, I noticed that
several had fallen down. Don't know whether this is normal, or not. Walking
back through the town of Utica, I counted 3 Baltimore Oriole nests from last
year, saw 4 E. Bluebirds, a Red Tail Hawk, and Black Vulture were gliding
around in the strong S. winds. Also, the last few days I have been seeing Wild
Turkeys in the fields, and roosting in the trees around my house. The most I
have seen are 16. The other morning while walking the dog I got within 35-40
yards of them before they scattered into the thickets and trees.
