I just had a singing Cerulean warbler move through the yard. The song grabbed my attention right away. I couldn't see it, high up in the trees, but I brought up the song on my studio computer and confirmed it by listening to the bird outside the window, and then on the computer. A match. Moved through in about 5 minutes. First confirmed Cerulean in my yard in a very long time. Also had a Swainson's thrush earlier this morning, and woke to the ever-present calling of a Chuck-Will's Widow. Do those birds ever stop to breathe?
