A minimum of 12,100 sandhills were counted on the roost ponds. Most were on
1375. The 86 pond cranes were leaving by the time I was able to get there.
Expect lots of movement over the next few days with the warmer temps and sunny
days. Watch traffic. Going to roost experience is incredible.
