Yesterday I hiked the trails at Camp Nelson looking for Bobolinks and wasn’t
disappointed. I counted at least 21 birds, 19 being males. All of the males
were singing and displaying constantly. I do believe my numbers were
conservative and think that most likely there were quite a few others or there
that I wasn’t seeing because it was in the middle of the afternoon.
