having cataract surgery yesterday afternoon. A Wilson’s Snipe did accommodate
me by landing in view after I flushed it. White-crowned Sparrows are getting
more prominent and a covy of Quail gave me a head on look as they approached
after being flushed by something else. (maybe a calf).
