I mentioned recently that, in my experience, Brewer’s Blackbirds don’t mix with
others. Well, they’ve made a liar out of me because there was a literal flock
of them in the treetops of the woodlot, a few minutes ago, and they were nicely
mixed with a few Starlings, and some female Red-winged Blackbirds, which made
it really difficult to count them. I got to 28 before I lost track. There were
certainly more. I got a few photos on this ugly-weather day, that I included in
the eBird list.
