Seven observers and a feeder watcher participated in the Bowling Green CBC today and recorded a total of 76 species. Highlights of the count included: RUFOUS HUMMINGBIRD (2 adult females) previously banded MERLIN juvenile male (based on size and plumage) in pursuit of a Wilson's Snipe Red-tailed Hawk adult calurus light-morph Adult light-morph harlani with alternate tail pattern. This bird is again present on the WKU farm where I videotaped it last winter. It is a gorgeous bird with a banded white tail.
