There were five black-necked stilts at Open Pond, Fulton Co. Ky. today. One
was incubating. Another appeared to have a dark 1 inch tumor at the proximal
end of its right leg. It also did not put weight on that leg and the foot
looked real " gimpy". But, it could fly.
