*Common Grackles* are passing through in large numbers tonight. I saw a
flock much larger than the 2,000 I included on my eBird checklist; fully
half were too far for my scope with the light conditions.
I also was happy to see 11 *Common Nighthawks* cruise by this evening. I
haven't seen any reports of Nighthawks in JeffCo since one bird was
reported on August 4.
Is Autumn really happening? Where are the shorebirds?
