Here in uptown Dot, we have both White-crowned and White-throated Sparrows.
When my renter begins this crop year, the nature of this place will change. The
fences will be removed and the fields will host corn, wheat or beans rather
than meadow. I don’t know how that will affect our local bird population, but
it is bound to change.

only see white throated sparrows but across the road at my Dad's house it is
open terrain and he has white crowned sparrows. Picky birds.
