During the steady one hour long much needed rain yesterday afternoon, we
noticed some birds.
Two GE at the same spot observed the past 4 to 6 weeks, near Pond Creek and
the swamp, along US 431, north of Drakesboro. They were huddled down. This is
in the vicinity of Peanut and Nonnell.
And, on the wires in front of our house were two Kestrels, wings and tails
spread, soaking the rain up/taking a bath.
