Janet and I walked down to First Creek Lake at Mammoth Cave today and were rewarded for our efforts with a beautiful pair of adult bald eagels. They flew wing to wing for a few seconds, thinking about courtship, then took off down the river. Not much else birdwise, but it was a great day for a walk in the woods. Steve Kistler Hart Co.
