Folks,
We aren’t currently recommending that people take bird feeders down, but please
do practice diligence in cleaning your feeders regularly. Once weekly in
bleach water is best. This is always important for preventing the spread of
germs at feeders, but especially important in times like these.
Thanks,

“Low Risk Of Avian Flu To Songbirds
There is currently very low risk of an outbreak among wild songbirds, and no
official recommendation to take down feeders unless you also keep domestic
poultry, according to the National Wildlife Disease Program. We will update
this page as the situation develops.”
