Hi all,
I'm going to be leading Tuesday and Thursday bird hikes and wildflower hikes
for several weeks at Mammoth Cave NP, starting on March 13th. Bird hikes
start at 8:15 a.m. CDT, but I'm usually over there earlier. If anyone wants
to meet before the appointed hour, just contact me. We usually go 90 minutes
to 2 hours, then I refuel on coke and chocolate for the 11:00 a.m. CDT
flower walk. Please note that the park is on central time.
My last date will be either on April 10th or 12th, which is early, but I
have travel plans and will have to cut it off then. Wildflowers in the park
are already starting to bloom, so we should see plenty of them during those
weeks.
I hope some of you can come join us. I have several pairs of very decent
binoculars that I'm glad to lend out.
