Gary Ritchison has posted a draft of the Spring 2004 Seasonal Report that will appear in the August issue of The Kentucky Warbler. It is at: http://www.biology.eku.edu/KOS/springseason2004.html Lee McNeely and I would request that especially contributors to the seasonal report -- but also anyone else who is interested -- review this draft for errors and omissions of sightings. As is always the case, space limitations preclude an exhaustive compilation of birds reported for each season, so we strive to include a significant number of the reports of uncommon to rare species, as well as other noteworthy observations. Many reports are taken from posts to BIRDKY, so there are many opportunities for the inclusion of errors. We hope to make this opportunity a regular one to heighten the level of accuracy in the Seasonal Reports. Any corrections or additions should be emailed to me at brainard.palmer-ball@xxxxxx by Monday, July 26, 2004. Thanks, Brainard Palmer-Ball, Jr. and Lee McNeely KOS Seasonal Report editors ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
