Hap Chambers just called to report that she and Roseanna Denton have found a Common Ground-Dove at the south end of Lake Number 9 in western Fulton Co. The bird was in a field and then out on the mudflat of the lake, associating with some American Pipits. I assume Hap will be able to pass along more info to someone later, but at the time of her call they had lost the bird because of a pass by a Northern Harrier. If anyone heads that way, Hap's cell phone number is 270-559-4643, but cell coverage is spotty down in that area. bpb, Louisville brainard.palmer-ball@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
