I brided the loop road off Hwy 76 in the Green River WMA and kayaked Casey
Creek up to the bridge
Sat. morning. The best sighting of the day was of 5 otter swimming and
"playing" along the bank of a
spit of land in Casey Creek. Casey Creek is at 675.2' elevation (very near
summer pool), so no
mudflats have formed for shorebirds.

Yellow-billed Cuckoo 9 (1 seen feeding a grown young)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird 1

Eastern Wood-Pewee 5
Acadian Flycatcher 16
Eastern Phoebe 1
Great Crested Flycatcher 1

Cliff Swallow 20 (counted 162 nests under the Casey Creek bridge with young
being fed in some nests)
