While driving along Hwy. 1363 in southwestern McCreary County today I heard a Blue-winged Warbler. When I stopped to look I found a Blue-winged and a Brewster's Warbler at the same spot. The Brewster's chased the Blue-winged back and forth across the road a few times. The Brewster's sang, but it wasn't the typical Blue-winged or Golden-winged song. ~Roseanna Denton Science Hill, KY Pulaski County ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============== The BIRDKY Mailing List requires you to sign your messages with first & last name, city, & state abbreviation. -------------------------------------------------- To post to this mailing list, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx -------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the Kentucky Ornithological Society web site at http://www.biology.eku.edu/kos.htm * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison, Richmond, KY E-mail: gary.ritchison@xxxxxxx
