I THINK I saw a Kite being harassed by a crow over the Gilman Ave area in St.
Matthews the other day. Probably wrong and just wishful thinking.

I just stopped my Mayfair & happened upon them myself! They’re still here.

I had two Mississippi Kites fly over the house today. I'm thinking they may
have been migrating. They were pretty high and moving north-ish. A few years
ago, and for a couple years in a row, we had a pair nest in the neighborhood
and I never observed them soaring like this.
A while ago I received an ebird Rare Bird Alert email that Avocets had been
reported. I was already out, scope in the car, and stopped by the ponds off
Mayfair and sure enough seven Avocets and one Willet were present.
Hey Ron, those kites certainly flew over your house too!
