Macaulay Library media will be temporarily unavailable on Sept. 15th
Please be aware that the Macaulay Library will experience planned downtime
as part of the database upgrade process. Macaulay Library services will be
unavailable starting at *5 am EDT (9 am GMT) on September 15th*. We
estimate services will be restored by the end of the day.
Places where media appears on websites will not display media during the
downtime.
*Additional websites that will not have media during the outage:*
- eBird
- Checklists
- Manage Media (users will not be able to upload media)
- Explore Species, Search, Illustrated Checklist, Quiz, Profile page
- Status and Trends media
- Birds of the World
- Cornell Lab website (birds.cornell.edu)
- Peterson Field Guide to Bird Songs on Bird Academy
- Macaulay Library Search
- As well as any media displayed on external sites via embed code
Visitors will be notified of the downtime via announcements on our websites
and social media as well as banners on any pages where services are
temporarily unavailable.
