As I mentioned recently, the KOS Board have been watching closely the
situation in the state and in the country. Yesterday, the CDC announced the

Taking a cue from the CDC as well as state government, I am announcing
that the Spring 2020 KOS Meeting is *cancelled*.
This was both a tough decision and an easy one - birders are gregarious
and enjoy time together, but birders also understand and put a lot of
credence into *science*.
For those of you you have reserved a room for the Spring Meeting, *please
contact Carter Caves SRP on 606-286-4411 to cancel your reservation.*
On behalf of the KOS Board, we wish you good health and good birding, and
hope to see you soon out in the field (and six feet away). We are already
well into organizing the Fall 2020 KOS Meeting which will be held on the
weekend of September 18-20, 2020. Stay tuned for program and room
reservation details.
