As the group was posting to Birdky and E-bird after finding the Flycatcher
today, I noticed I had a notification from the Bird Banding Laboratory
about another recapture I'd like to share.

A Northern Saw-whet Owl that we caught on November 3, 2016, in Louisville
on Brainard's farm was re-captured on November 8th this year at Block
Island Village, Rhode Island (kinda halfway between Long Island, New York
and Nantucket Island, Massachusetts).

Interestingly enough, this bird was at least in it's third year when it was
here in 2016, so it wasn't just a young bird changing routes.

The pace of roughly 1 of every 20 birds banded being re-captured elsewhere
amazingly continues for this species.
