I stood by the kitchen window this afternoon and got around 30 shots of similar or better quality than those I got this morning. Soon after I began stakeout, I saw Jeeves eating snow, which reminded me to check the water I had put on the side steps a few hours earlier. It was frozen. I refilled and put the waterer near Jeeves shrub. Dozens of birds caught on right away, but Jeeves didn't get a drink for another 2 hours, at about 4:15. I also saw Jeeves and a rabbit in the same frame just before I came in for the day. In the past 2 days I have seen at the yard feeder almost every species of bird I've seen in the hayfield the whole winter. 5 new shots showing Jeeves on the ground eating niger seed, my favorite glamor shot of Jeeves in the shrub, and a wide shot showing Jeeves new yard headquarters here - https://www.flickr.com/photos/123438032@N04/ Frank Lyne frank@xxxxxxxxxxx - near Dot in Logan County, KY ================NOTES TO SUBSCRIBERS============= When posting on BIRDKY, please close posts with your first and last name and your address (city or county). * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To post on BIRDKY, send e-mail to: birdky@xxxxxxxxxxxxx * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS website at http://www.birdky.org * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Visit the KOS Photo Page to view photos of birds recently sighted in Kentucky: http://www.flickr.com/groups/kentucky_ornithological_society/pool * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * To unsubscribe, send e-mail to: birdky-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with 'unsubscribe' in the Subject line. * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * BIRDKY List Manager: Gary Ritchison.
