Different sources label the main road into the WMA off KY 369 as either
"H1" or "K1" . . . in the real world when you are there, it is signed as
"K1" as you start down the road. K2 is the first right as you proceed down
K1. This junction of K1/K2 seems to be a good starting point for looking
for the shrike, which so far seems to be hanging around within 1/4 to 1/2
mile of it. Yesterday evening before and after sunset it actually sat way
up on the utility wires running north-south just west of K2 so it was
really easy to spot. I think Ben's original point of observation about 1/2
mile out K1 is as far to the southwest it has been seen this week.
The attached map pretty much shows the entire area the bird has been seen
this week. The K1/K2 jct is at 37.2841, -86.8902.
