Still haven’t gotten any real flashy shorebirds this year, but it was a fair
morning, especially considering that I saw nothing at all when I scanned from
the road. All the best mud is on the far side this year, so nothing much can be
seen without making a full circle. Too tough for more than maybe once a week. 7
species this morning - 1 Killdeer, 1 Wilson’s Snipe, 2 Solitary, 1 Spotted, 2
Least, 21 Lesser Yellowlegs and 3 Long-billed Dowitchers. Pics.
