After a stellar start to our 2023 hummingbird year — our 1st arrived on 4/7,
followed by another and another and another — enough hummingbirds that, for the
first time, we hung more than our usual one feeder before the broods fledge.
But now it’s been days or even weeks since we’ve seen a hummingbird. Is it
possible that we lost them after the temperature dropped to 29 degrees on April
24?
