I know that there is no money for a video recording system, but wouldn't it
be great if we could have a camera trained on that feeder during the
daylight hours, every day? I've seen 24/7 videos of nests and feeders to
view the growth/development of chicks and to view hummingbirds.

of that. We pretty much trampled Debbie's lower yard area pretty well over
the past six weeks, and with today's rain much traffic in that area is
probably unwise. Another issue has been the short duration that the bird
has been reliable at the feeder during the past couple of weeks' warm
weather. It really has only been around for a couple of hours in the
morning. Debbie has been giving me frequent updates so let me see if the
bird's visitation increases with the upcoming more seasonable weather and
we can let the yard dry out from the rains.
