I am testing it now. It looks like it works, somehow… but not as it should.
The other command already exists in Bento Openbox as part of the lxpanel
package : it is
lxpanelctl which can take several options on the command line.
The files will be uploaded in a moment, into a bento-filesystem/addons/
subdirectory.
