I saw a specimen of an Evening Grosbeak like that. Andy Jones showed it to Wallace Coffey and I when we went to Minnesota a few year back. We had gone to the display room at the college to compare sizes of different birds. I figured never to see that type of morph again. Guess it happens more often than I thought. It shows a cardinal that is half male on one side and half female on the other, a bi-lateral gynandromorph (Yeah, I had never heard of it either). Scroll down after reaching the site to see a small picture of the bird. http://minnesotabirdnerd.blogspot.com/search?q=cardinal Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
