Sorry for the late post, but last Sunday, Aug 14, Lynda and I were in the Breaks Park with BCBC member Nick Wimmer. We were standing at the Stateline Overlook when Nick noticed a bird flying west, downriver, on the far side of the gorge. It was a Peregrine Falcon. The bird circled once or twice then continued downriver for a few hundred yards, then turned north and crossed the highway near the unknown soldier's grave. It then crossed the ridge continuing north until we lost it in the distance. Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt
