Took a trip to the fire tower this morning 08-16-2011with Gary Cooper. We had
a good morning of birding. We watched a group of 4 Broad-winged Hawks and 1
Coopers Hawk do arial maneuvers all morning. They would dive bomb each other
and any vultures that came near. All of the broad-winged hawks appeared to be
juveniles. The highlights are listed.
