Hi All, The two Gray Foxes that have been coming for nightly hand-outs since November are still around. Tonight, in spite of the snow and a temperature of 8 degrees they came. After they ate, one left, but the less skittish one stayed for awhile. After it got all of the food it wanted it decided to curl up in the snow. It has done this before but not in single digit temperatures. His fur coat must be a really good insulator. It stayed for about 45 minutes as fine snow fell. Below is a photo. Even the camera flash didn't disturb it. some of those small white dots are reflections from the snow on the ground, but some are reflections from the fine snowflakes. Roger Mayhorn Compton Mt
