Hello,
Yesterday with the light snow, wind and cold temps, I did a rather long day
hike along the Levisa River, East, climbed School House hollow road to the top
of John Thomas Mt. and along the top of the mountain which leads through the
gap to Home Creek. Great day to be out of doors and enjoying the beauty of our
mountains. With the wind, and very cold temps limited the number of birds out
and about. Here is the list that I saw.

Chickadee 6
American Crow 35
Blue Heron 3
Pine Siskin 70 ( 12 or more as they flew over but most at my yard feeder)
Goldfinch 42
Blue Jay 3
Junco 26
Red tail Hawk 1
Song Sparrow 4
Winter Wren 1 (This was the delight of my day)
Downey Woodpecker 2
Peleated Woodpecker 1
Morning Dove 5

Take care and hope to see along the trail.
