[bcbirdclub] Finches and waterfowl

Today after bringing my parents home from a Dr. appointment we were very
pleased to find four Purple Finches at their feeders. This was a new yard bird
for them and they were understandably excited. At my home this evening I saw
my FOS Tree Swallow. And then, to cap off my good fortune, I found a male
Greater Scaup in the Dismal River at Pilgrims Knob as the family and I were
going for an evening walk at Whitewood Community Center. This, I think, is a
pretty rare treat for Buchanan county. I have pictures of the Scaup that I'll
share later after I find my misplaced SD card reader.
