Subject: [bcbirdclub] Brown Pelican - Washington County, VA
This afternoon while traveling South on I-81 near milepost 10 I saw a
pelican flying South towards South Holston Lake. I was unable to stop to get a
better look but based on the flying profile and the size it was a Brown
Pelican. I checked Clear Creek Lake and the pond at Exit 10 on my way back
several hours lter but did not relocate the bird.
