Buchanan Birders,

Here are some pictures Michelle and I took at yesterday's BCBC trip to the
Breaks and Beaver Knob. 10 club members birded until mid-afternoon. We found
some great birds along the way including Blue Grosbeak, Cape May Warbler,
Blackpoll Warbler, and many others. Several other members were taking pictures
so I'm expecting some more photographs to be posted. Everyone had a great time.

Roger ID'd the mystery gall on the oak tree as a Wool-sower Gall. One of the
strangest things I have ever seen in nature (see pictures) and a first for all
club members present.

  Have a great week,
  Ed
