Seth,
USPSA added a new division for guns with slide mounted optics, i.e. "Carry
Optics”. Carry Optics is essentially Production + Slide-mounted Optic + some
minor gun modifications that would not be allowed in Production, e.g. frame
stippling, undercut trigger guard, etc. The rules are available here:
<https://uspsa.org/document_library/2016/APPENDIX%20D7_DNROI_3.pdf ;
<https://uspsa.org/document_library/2016/APPENDIX%20D7_DNROI_3.pdf>>
In IDPA, there’s no division that optics are legal in. However IDPA allows
match directors to accommodate non-compliant equipment with a ’Not For
Competition' (NFC) division.

Hi Action Shooters -
We currently only have 11 competitors registered for Sunday's match. We can
take about 20 more! If you plan on shooting it, please register at
Practiscore so we can a get an accurate count of who will be attending.

If you're a new shooter - This would be a great first match as the squads
will be small and the stages are looking really fun to shoot. The weather
forecast is 65 and sunny - A perfect day to shoot!
See you there!
Thanks and best -
Jack
