Our science classes use Gale's Science in Context for general reference,
and that works pretty well.

I think the majority of science research here is being completed using the
Science database and the resources in Gale.

Hi, Cathy et al --

just wanted to echo Cathy's question. We've been having trouble for a
couple of years finding general science encyclopedias in print. It seems
they've gotten very subject specific. Perhaps science encyclopedias in
print are going the way of the Britannica? Ouch, wait a minute, just saw
this: Encyclopedia Britannica's COO jumps to death

apt a metaphor.

Anyhow -- I'd also be interested in what if any general science
encyclopedias people use -- print or digital. thanks!
